Cruinniú Na nÓg 2020
Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a
national day of free creativity for children and young people under
18. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of
the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth plan to enable the
creative potential of children and young people.
This year
ReCreate brought a treasure hunt for creative materials directly to the
homes of thousands of families across Ireland. Seek & Gather invited
families to seek and gather reuse materials from around your home,
wherever you may be, and bring them together in our final workshop which
you can see below. Seek & Gather was broken into two different age
brackets, the orange
clues below are related to our 2-6 years workshop, and the burgundy clues are for
6-12 years. If you missed out on the day, that’s totally fine, you can
still run through all of the clues below (we have also provided answers
for each 🙂 ) When you’ve gathered all of the ingredients, you can then
tune in to the video with our facilitator Jo, and get creating!!
